All PAYSA programs are designed to emphasize skill
development. Players are assigned teams and no
standings are maintained.Younger players play short-
sided games (6 vs. 6; 8 vs. 8) designed to increase
touches on the ball and promote skills development.
At the younger levels, children play all positions as
they learn the basics of the game. As children gain a
better understanding of the game, we offer opportunities
to try out for travel teams, typically starting at age 9.
The recreational program is open to all, regardless of skill,
and continues through age 11. All PAYSA programs are
single sex, and we field teams for about 1,000 children
